Components of Profit
Profit is measured at both the company level as net operating income (NOI) and the business unit level as economic profit contribution (EPC).
EPC is measured before taxes, but includes charges on operating capital.
NOI includes all the elements of EPC, plus charges for corporate expenses, capital, and taxes.
We pursue continuous business improvements to grow EPC and NOI.
